The rear floor area is lowered to allow plenty of headroom for easy access and facilitate a more comfortable ride with clear vision for all on board, including the wheelchair passenger. The design retains the vehicle manufacturer’s own rear suspension and the wheelchair is secured at the front by electrically operated restraints and at the rear by webbing straps: a lap and diagonal seat belt protects the wheelchair passenger.

It’s amazing just how easy it is to get in and out of an Atlas conversion. A modified lowering suspension allows the rear mounted ramp to deploy automatically as the vehicle is lowered to the ground. The ramp is stowed away at the push of a button as the vehicle returns to the normal driving position.

The rear passenger seats are well thought out as well, being removable, foldable, adjustable and very comfortable.
