Jamie Brewer, best known for her multi-dimensional roles on Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series American Horror Story, set a record this week for becoming the first model with Down Syndrome to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week.
Ms. Brewer made history at Role Models Not Runway Models Carrie Hammer Show, which was a part of the larger event Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2015 at Lightbox on Thursday afternoon in New York City.

Jamie wore clothing designed by Role Models Not Runway Models organizer and clothing designer Carrie Hammer, reported USA Today. The show in which Brewer participated is more than just a fashion show. the concept behind it is to invite inspiring women to showcase Hammer’s clothing.
