Carebase Celebrates Surrey Awards Win

A group of care homes specialising in dementia care in the South East and East Anglia is  celebrating their win at the Surrey Care Awards, which took place at a prestigious ceremony on 19 November 2010.

Monica Prosser, the Care Home Manager at Carebase’s Acorn Court Care Home in Redhill, was awarded Manager of The Year during a glittering ceremony at the Epsom Down Racecourse.

Monica’s Manager of the Year award recognized her outstanding leadership and management skills in developing a service and team that delivers consistently good results for the Acorn Court residents.

The Surrey Care Awards, a regional ceremony organized by the Surrey Care Association, recognize the outstanding dedication of individuals and teams working within the adult care sector.

Nicola Coveney, Managing Director, Carebase, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this regional award. As a company we pride ourselves on the wonderful staff who work at our homes and we are happy that Monica’s hard work and commitment have been recognized.

“At Carebase the staff receive excellent training to ensure all residents are treated like VIPs,” he added. “We send our sincere thanks and congratulations to Monica and her team at Acorn Court.”
