Essex resort of Jaywick named England’s most deprived town

Jaywick, Tendring district council in north-east Essex, has been entitled first in the Indices of Multiple Deprivation 2010. Using statistics for living standards, employment, income, disability, health, and crime, the government report ranks 32,482 neighbourhoods by local authority area according to where they stand in a national poverty league table.

I LOVED JAYWICK WHEN I WAS A KID AND WAS VERY SHOCK WHEN I WENT BACK A FEW YEARS AGO IT WASNT THE PLACE WE SPENT OUR HOLIDAYS AT A NICE FAMILY RESORT PLENTY FOR ALL AGES THE BEACH WAS NICE AND YOU ALWAYS HAD CLACTON WHICH YOU COULD WALK TO ALONG THE SEA FRONT
I DONT KNOW WHO LET IT GET IN THAT MESS BUT THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEM SELFS
