Diane Roy (CAN) is looking in good shape to defend her Delhi 2010 gold medal after leading qualifying for the T54 1500m final which takes place at Hampden Park tonight (Thurs.).

On the starting line alongside Roy are five home nation athletes trying to shatter that dream and take the Gold for themselves: Jade Jones, 18 (ENG), Shelly Woods, 28 (ENG), Lauren Rowles, 16 (ENG), Meggan Farrell-Dawson, 21 (SCO) and Samantha Kinghorn, 18 (SCO).

T54 classification athletes have normal hand or arm functions, reduced leg or trunk functions and race in wheelchairs.
