Graeae’s Dury Show Up for Two Awards
Well, knock us down with a feather, but Graeae’s triumphant production of new musical Reasons To Be Cheerful, with the music of Ian Dury, has been nominated for two awards at ‘The Offies’ – the Off West End Theatre Awards!
“After a skiddling, diddling, bled-white, dyed-black riotous run at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich and the Theatre Royal Stratford East, Reasons To Be Cheerful took its final curtain call at the weekend,” says the company.
“Sell out crowds and standing ovations have greeted this amazing production – but, for now, we’ve hung up our Rhythm Stick and put away our Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll. Now we need you to vote for us in the People’s Favourite New Musical Award and The People’s Favourite Entertainment Award.
To cast your vote you need to click here, scroll to the bottom of the page and sign up to The Offies newsletter – then look for the link at the bottom of your next OffWestEnd.com email. It’s easy!
