Offering luxury self-catering accommodation with exceptional views of the surrounding Scottish countryside, Maunderlea Lodges is the perfect base from which to explore Aberdeenshire, Moray and Speyside at any time of the year.
Nestled in 14 acres of mature woodland in historic Banffshire, Maunderlea Lodges is home to four lodges, which each accommodate six guests in three bedrooms, one of which is a ground floor double with king size bed, suitable for elderly relatives or people with limited mobility. The entire ground floor of each lodge is wheelchair accessible with a large wetroom and open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. Upstairs, there’s a second double bedroom, twin room and a bathroom. Underfloor heating (provided by air source pumps) keeps the lodges toasty even during Scottish winters. Well behaved pets are also welcome in Pine Lodge.

Hill of Maunderlea Lodges is just 10 minutes from the coast where guests will find numerous quaint fishing villages with some lovely places to eat – and they’re also within easy reach of several castles, distilleries and golf courses, and that’s not to even mention the countless wonderful walks and cycle paths available from the door. Some guests stay specifically to try to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis, better known as the ‘Northern Lights’ staying up all night to survey the sky for miles around from the wonderful hillside location.
Prices range from £380 per week in the winter and £680 per week in the summer. Short breaks for two to four nights are available outside of the peak season.
