Although we appreciate that accessibility on our network is not perfect, we are constantly working hard on improving our network and making it more accessible for all. This process takes time and extensive funding, so meanwhile we are trying to give the best assistance we can.

We are aware that there’s an assumption that if you’re mobility impaired then getting around London is extremely difficult. However, we would like to encourage mobility impaired people with the message that it may be easier than you think.

The TfL network is becoming increasingly accessible – especially in eastern and some central parts of London. So we wanted a couple of videos to help encourage disabled people, especially wheelchair-users, not to be put off coming to events in London because of accessibility concerns. We would like to encourage them to find out more about the most accessible routes on our network.
