Allied Mobility’s Peugeot Horizon is now available with a choice of seating layouts, further adding to the appeal of the UK’s most popular mobility car.

Some mobility car conversions come with no rear seating but the record-breaking Horizon brings you full rear seating as standard.  This means you simply tip-up part of the rear seating to accommodate the wheelchair user, leaving one of the rear seats in place for someone travelling alongside the wheelchair occupant.  You also have the added benefit of a standard car with five full seats whenever the wheelchair stance isn’t required.

Now the Peugeot Horizon – based on the stylish Peugeot Partner Tepee – is available with further options for the rear seating, designed in response to feedback from customers with particular disability and family needs.

The new seating layouts for the Horizon feature one, two or three independent rear seats.  Choose all three and you can accommodate two rear passengers either side of a wheelchair passenger.  This sees the Horizon becoming even more accessible for larger families and ideal for younger wheelchair users who like to sit between two family members.

Note that this option is best suited to relatively small wheelchair users.  Disabled customers with particularly large wheelchairs can now opt to have one single seat in the back, so there are no seats to fold forward.  This creates additional room in from of the wheelchair stance.

The new options simply add to the existing accessibility features of this fabulous mobility car.  These include the unique, FlexiFold lightweight ramp, a lowered floor for additional headroom and Motability accredited wheelchair restraint system.  For those who need extra assistance, a remote controlled electric winch can also be added to the vehicle (free of charge to Motability Scheme customers).  Standard features of the car include power steering, reach adjustable steering wheel and CD player.
