It has been an exciting start for us at Comfy Tours, Our first two trips were to Bury market and the 3 Queens, Cunard 175th anniversary in Liverpool. We enjoyed them both and we are thrilled our customers did too!
It wasn’t all plain sailing as the events team in Liverpool had sent a bulletin that mobility scooters would not be permitted. We did our best to support customers around the ruling as we had two customers this affected.
We were willing to take their scooters and pass on our mobile number in case they incurred problems. Both gentleman chose to use a wheelchair; one of which we were able to supply at no cost but both were disappointed at losing their independence and having to rely on family to push them. Other people also attended the event in scooters, so good for them.
We aim to work round any special requirements and were thanked by one customer and his family for giving him the extra legroom he needed to make the trip possible. We look forward to seeing all our customers again as well as attracting new ones.
We are a small family business based in the Wyre and Fylde area offering coach travel with accessible features, trips with onboard entertainment and prizes including drinks and refreshments as well as private hire to certain areas within the North West.
