While acknowledging its faults, it is wise to remember that the NHS still performs well for less money than many other countries’ healthcare systems My wife spent 48 hours in an NHS hospital this month (all fine again now) and I’m delighted to report that the treatment she received from doctors and nurses was excellent. It’s not always the case in London hospitals
