The Motability Scheme have announced the return of The Big Event and regional One Big Day events for 2019.
The UK’s largest display of cars, scooters and powered wheelchairs for disabled people, The Big Event, returns to the NEC in Birmingham on 28-29 June 2019 supported by further regional, One Big Day events in autumn 2019.
Free to attend and featuring free parking, the Motability Scheme’s The Big Event and One Big Day events are a great day out for the whole family, providing a great way for disabled people and their families to find out everything they need to know about worry-free motoring, as well as lots of fun for kids to enjoy too.
The Big Event in Birmingham will be the UK’s largest showcase of cars, scooters and powered wheelchairs for disabled people.
The events bring everything available on the Motability Scheme together in great accessible locations, to make joining the Scheme as easy and informed as possible. They’re totally free and a great day out for all the family.
There will be:
- A huge display of cars, WAVs, adaptations and scooters
- Motability Scheme advisors available
- Free parking, free tea, coffee or a soft drink
- A children’s play area including a jumping castle and more
The Big Event and One Big Day events are a great place to test drive adapted and non-adapted cars to see which vehicle best suits your needs:
- A wide range of adapted and non-adapted cars available
- Professional driving instructors
- On-the-road test drives as a driver or passenger
- Try out popular driving adaptations
There really is no better opportunity to explore every aspect of the Motability Scheme as Mr Huddart, who attended one of the events earlier this year maintains: “The facilities were excellent and the staff were brilliant and so welcoming.
