The athletes were representing the 144 competitors, coaches and carers who will be coming from across Wales to the National Summer Games in Bath at the end of August. They were greeted by the Welsh Government Minister for Culture and Sport, John Griffiths and ITV was there covering the event.

The team will be competing in ten of the 12 events that will be taking place at the Summer Games. The largest numbers of Welsh competitors will be seen in the pool and on the athletics track and they are sending one of the largest Ten-Pin Bowling teams.

Jeff Savory, Regional Chair for Wales and Head of the Welsh Delegation for the Games joined the team’s visit to the Senedd, along with Jon Morgan, Executive Director at Disability Sport Wales.
