Innovation is the buzz word at Naidex 2016 – as an inspiring line up of manufacturers and suppliers travel to Birmingham later this month (April 26 – 28) for 3 days to exhibit their latest products and services – many launched to market within the past 12 months!

With a 42-year long heritage, Naidex really is the “go to” show for all manufacturers and suppliers working within the independent living and assistive technology sector.

With over 200 exhibitors and 9,000 visitors expected to attend the exhibition, clear navigation around the show-floor is vital. And, with the Naidex reputation for bringing new and exciting products direct to those who will benefit (whether a patient or professional!) the Innovation Trail (a unique feature which signposts visitors directly to the very latest developments in the independent living and assistive technology sector) is fast becoming one of the highlights of the show!

As an exciting new venture, Naidex has introduced an exclusive “Trade and Healthcare Professional only” day, allowing trade and healthcare professionals to get straight to business on day one (Tuesday 26 April 2016).

Also new for 2016 is the Sports and Activity Zone – an interactive and topical feature in the run up to the 2016 Paralympic Games! In partnership with Let’s Play, visitors will be able to discover and try out disability activities such as Powerchair Football, Wheelchair Basketball and Boccia.

And, the new Mobility Test Track – in partnership with TGA Mobility – will also provide visitors with the opportunity to “try before they buy”, testing out wheelchairs and mobility scooters to find the right solution for their individual needs.

Details of the full programme and all other elements of Naidex 2016 (including the trade stage, multi-disciplinary theatre, seminars & workshops, the Market Place and the popular online ‘booking’ portal, Naidex.Connects) can now be found on the recently refreshed and user-friendly website, www.naidex.co.uk

Naidex 2016 partners include the National Wheelchair Managers Association (NWMF), Posture and Mobility Group (PMG), the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) and the College of Occupational Therapists (COT).

Portfolio Director, Alison Willis, concludes: “Naidex has a long heritage – of over 40 years! – in attracting exhibitors who are keen to present the latest and most innovative products and solutions. To help our many thousands of visitors identify these new products, the Innovation Trail was created to ensure visitors didn’t miss out on those most relevant to them and their needs. We’re also delighted that we have so many opportunities this year for people to try before they buy – and for journalists, writers and reporters to see the products first hand too!”
