TV Show Looks for Disabled People
A TV company is looking for participants willing to help stop viewers thinking of disabled people as sexually invisible.
Endemol UK – the makers of shows including Big Brother and 8 out of 10 Cats – are working on a new series of the Sex Education Show for Channel 4. Producer Naomi Channell is working on a feature about disability and sexuality and is looking for people to interview as part of a feature to help audiences understand ‘the when, why and how’ relating to sex and disability.
Naomi told us: “We tackled the issue briefly in our previous series and received such praise for addressing the subject and getting the right message across that we want to do it again and want to devote more of this new series into addressing the issue and exploring a range of different disabilities and how people affected by them ensure they can still have a loving relationship and healthy sex life.”
