We are celebrating the start of the One Big Day summer programme of events by offering five lucky readers the chance to win a bag of Motability goodies complete with Billy’s Buddy mascot, merchandise and a copy of the latest issue of the Rough Guide to Accessible Britain, featuring over 200 inspiring ideas for worry-free days out, up and down the UK.

Hosted by Motability, the leading car scheme for disabled people, The Big Event and One Big Day events are a great opportunity to find out more about leasing a car, scooter or powered wheelchair through the Scheme. The series starts with The Big Event which this year is held at EventCity in Manchester on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May. This two day flagship event is the UK’s largest display of vehicles available to lease through the Scheme.

Visitors can test drive a wide selection of cars, talk to Motability Scheme advisors and gather a range of helpful information, while enjoying a great day out with their friends and families. Make sure you bring your full driving licence with you and book a test drive when you arrive. It’s a great way to find out if the car you’re considering is right for you.

All the events are FREE to attend, including free parking and are held entirely indoors. Children’s entertainment is included – the little ones can enjoy the face painting as well as the chance to meet the Motability mascot ‘Billy the Bear’, and visitors are also treated to a free cup of tea of coffee when they arrive.

Dates for the 2015 One Big Day programme of five events are as follows:

  • One Big Day, Yorkshire Event Centre – Saturday 6 June 2015
  • One Big Day, Westpoint, Exeter – Thursday 23 July 2015
  • One Big Day, Peterborough Arena – Thursday 6 August 2015
  • One Big Day, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire – Saturday 12 September 2015

All events open at 9am and finish at 4pm.
