Join Business Disability Forum for a week-long Global Symposium providing a fresh perspective on global disability inclusion. The week will include webinars, panel discussions and roundtables with experts from around the globe working at some of the largest companies. They will be debating the most up to date topics and looking at what the landscape will be post-pandemic for disabled people.

Webinars include:

Workplace adjustments, a global challenge – Business Disability Forum’s Global Taskforce Manager Davina Critchley and Disability Business Consultant Jennifer Morris will be joined by Workplace adjustments & accessibility lead for GSK Andy Garrett, Global Program Lead for Disability Inclusion at Accenture Vani Sheshadri to discuss the challenges in implementing workplace adjustments in Global businesses.

Disability and data: why, when and how to collect data about disabled colleagues – Senior Global Diversity and Inclusion Manager at HSBC Biral Joshi will be looking at our Global Data Monitoring Report, sponsored by HSBC with Jennifer Morris and Davina Critchley. They will be exploring the collection, storing and analysing the data from people with disabilities living and working in different countries and the barriers Global businesses have and may encounter.

Panel subjects include:

Disability, diversity and inclusion: the global issues we cannot ignore – On this panel we will discuss race and intersectionality, the global pandemic subjects that cannot and should not be ignored. Asking questions such as, who are the winners in the global vaccination race, and do we all lose if disabled and disadvantaged people are left behind? Business Disability Forum’s Head of Legal and Content Bela Gor will be joined by Sales force Senior Manager Tom Frantz, Founder & CEO of Dial Global Leila McKenzie-Delis and Nick Hirons, Senior Vice President, Global Ethics & Compliance at GSK.

Employee disability networks around the world – Bela Gor will be chairing this panel of Brendan Roach, Director of Strategy & Networkology at Purple Space, Alia Cooper Head of Europe Compliance Framework for HSBC, Sreela Das Gupta Lead Disability and Neurodiversity at TATA Consulting and Darren Rowan Global Program Manager & accessibility Lead for Lilly. They will be sharing the benefits of learning from colleagues about the challenges and what works when trying to engage disabled colleagues to improve the life chances of disabled people.

The future of global – Are city centres over, will businesses never open big, high rise offices or will we all work in a hybrid in the office and at home manner? Is global business travel a thing of the past?  These are the questions our panel will be discussing, over the past year the working landscape has dramatically changed but will business evolve or regress. Business Disability Forum CEO Diane Lightfoot will be looking into the future of global businesses with Dr Peter Simpson, Global Head, Safety & Security at Standard Chartered, Neil Milliken, Global Head of Accessibility for Atos and Donna Miller, HR Director at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
