Organisers of the North East’s ‘festival for everyone’ is set to take place at Saltwell Park, Gateshead in August 2018.

The festival is one of only three festivals in the country to hold a Gold Standard accreditation from Attitude is Everything for its accessibility for disabled music fans, and this year it hopes to build ont his esteemed award that will position it as one of the most inclusive live music events in the country.

In what is a genuine coup for one of the region’s blossoming festivals, music fans will be delighted to hear that its organisers expect a wave of high profile acts to come to the region and will be joined by other groundbreaking musicians for a full day of family fun and musical wonder.

Inclusive

Chase Park Festival has positioned itself as one of the North East’s leading festivals in recent times and has been heralded as the UK’s most inclusive festival, thanks to its outstanding access for disabled musicians and guests.

Organisers pulled out all of the stops for the 2017 show which featured BSL translators so deaf music fans could understand the lyrics of the performers and new trackways around the park that enabled disabled music fans to get around the site easily and take in all of the fun.

The event passed with no security issues being reported, paving the way for yet another first class day of live family entertainment this year.
