ESA’s Parastronaut Feasibility Project will assess the feasibility of sending an astronaut with a physical disability safely into space.

ESA believe by investing in the necessary adaptations of space technology, people living with a disability can contribute to safe and useful space missions in the future. That future starts with you.

To apply, you must meet the basic requirements to become an astronaut, such as a Master degree, and in addition have a specific physical disability. More information about the disabilities which can be considered at this stage is available on the European Space Agency’s website.
