This summer, the Motability Scheme’s The Big Event is returning to the NEC, Birmingham on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July with a host of features for visitors to look forward to.

Expert Speaker Sessions
Back by popular demand, the expert speaker sessions are returning to The Big Event with a brand-new line up of talks.

Making their debut at The Big Event, Inside Track will share ‘All about electric vehicles’ and Highways England will be talking about ‘driving on England’s motorways’. Returning with another driving hot topic, Helen Dolphin will tell us ‘Everything you ever wanted to know about the Blue Badge’. Plus, Scheme representatives will give an introduction to Motability as well as talks giving details about wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) and adaptations. The talks will take place exclusively at The Big Event, across both days, between 10am and 3pm. The full line-up and timings are now available on the Motability website.

Passenger WAV test drives
For those considering a WAV but are yet to experience travelling in one, take a passenger WAV test drive at The Big Event.

Passenger WAV test drives are an on-the road WAV demonstration with a qualified driving instructor. They are available in small, medium or large WAVs depending on which is the most suitable vehicle to fit your wheelchair and lifestyle needs.

A specialist Motability Scheme representative will be on hand to assist
with vehicle selection and answer any queries that arise. Visitors simply book in at the Test Drive area on the day. The flagship show is completely free to attend and will showcase the UK’s largest display of cars, WAVs, powered wheelchairs and scooters available on the Motability Scheme.
