The most significant change to the latest model is the addition of the award-winning carbon fibre frame design which is also found in the Apex Carbon wheelchair and enables the Veloce to perform like a rigid wheelchair yet have the flexibility of a folding frame. The cutting-edge design of the carbon fibre frame provides unrivalled levels of durability and strength combined with fatigue resistance and extreme temperature tolerance yet has a transport weight of just 11.98 lbs (5.43 kg).
With a maximum user weight of nearly 18 stone (114kg) and width and depth dimensions of 14” (35.6cm) to 20” (50.8cm), the Veloce is the ideal lightweight wheelchair solution for users looking to maintain an active lifestyle. The Veloce is also highly adjustable as the user can easily adjust the front and rear seat to floor heights, seat bucket and centre of gravity, whilst the hinged one-piece footrest means that the frame can be easily folded for transportation or storage.
