Win! – A Weekend Safari Break in Norfolk

Watatunga is a stunning new wildlife reserve in west Norfolk. We are offering the lucky winner a Friday-Monday break in their newest on-site accommodation – Major’s Lodge.

Situated within 170 acres of woodland, grassland and lakes, Watatunga provides a unique environment for over 20 types of ungulate and rare bird species to roam at their will.

Major’s Lodge is a delightful single-storey wooden safari lodge, newly renovated and overlooking the grassy expanses and lakes of Watatunga Wildlife Reserve. With a stunning vista over grazing herds of exotic deer and antelope species, Major’s Lodge is an accessible property that sleeps up to eight people.

Guests can view many of the highly endangered deer and antelope from the comfort of the terrace or their sitting room. You will have exclusive access to golf buggies and a large state-of-the-art bird hide just a short stroll away.

Major’s Lodge and the bird hide are both suitable for disabled people with a ramp provided at the main entrance allowing wheelchair access and has a large wetroom. On a free guided tour of the reserve, guests will learn all about the conservation work at Watatunga while meeting the hoofstock, water buffalo, white-stork, cranes and great bustard which have all made Watatunga their home.
