The Joy Rider is compact and lightweight (23kgs) and is operated using a joystick and will unfold easily in seconds just by pulling a cable.
Easy controls allow you to adjust the speed and it’s manoeuvrable enough to be used indoors as well as outside (it has a turning radius of just 29 inches). Electromagnetic brakes stop the wheelchair instantly – even on an incline.
It will fit into the boot of most cars and a full charge (taking around four hours) gives a range of up to eight miles.
