National disability modelling agency Models of Diversity has partnered up with Leicester Centre for Integrated Living to put on a disability catwalk with their top models at its pioneering roadshows (Choice Unlimited) for disabled people. Based in London, Models of Diversity is an international campaign for more diversity in the advertising we see every day.

The Choice Unlimited trade fairs put disabled people in touch with organisations and businesses which can support independent living and active participation in society through their services – ranging from professional care, to products, leisure activities & disability arts.

The partnership will support a massive expansion of the Choices Unlimited concept, following three successful expos in Leicester, plus others in Nottingham and Surrey, which have attracted thousands of disabled people and hundreds of exhibitors.

Top disability models, Jack Eyers, first disabled model to model for New York fashion week & Models of Diversity spokesperson Chelsey Jay, will be 2 of the 12 models walking the catwalk at University of East London’s Sports Dock Arena on 8th July.

Angel Sinclair, CEO says: “Taking part in Choice Unlimited events will allow us to showcase the diversity of our models & also encourage visitors of the exhibition to chase their ambitions. Abled & less-abled models will walk the catwalk on the 8th July together branching the segregation of models in the fashion industry. We are calling on the beauty and marketing industries to recognize people of all races, ages, shapes, sizes and abilities.’’
