People with disabilities and additional care needs, as well as elderly people, will be the focus of attention at the international REHACARE trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 18 – 21 September 2019. Five halls offer them and their families, as well as industry professionals a comprehensive overview of aids for enabling independent living, from wheelchairs to adapted vehicles. Seminars, workshops and informational events will be held encouraging the discussion of topics related to disability and social topics.

Around 700 exhibitors from over 40 countries are taking part in REHACARE 2019.

Innovation and advanced developments for people with limited mobility will be the focal point of the event with 250 exhibitors showcasing wheelchairs, mobility scooters and walking aids and around 20 disability motoring specialists.

Everyday aids, care aids and communication technology for people with sensory disabilities and physical disabilities will complete the trade fair. Travel tips and equipment for accessible living are also available and the entirety of hall 7a will be dedicated to disability sports.

The M-Enabling Forum Europe kicks off on 19 September at REHACARE 2019 promoting accessible digital technology to enable disabled people and senior citizens to live independently and to improve their quality of life. The M-Enabling Forum Europe 2019 is organised by E.J.Krause & Associates Inc and G3ict, and was one of the projects initiated by the United Nations in 2011 to drive the development of inclusive information and communication technology worldwide.
