LONDON, U.K. (2nd October 2024) – A special screening of new A24 film “A DIFFERENT MAN” took place this evening at the Electric Cinema, Notting Hill ahead of its release in UK cinemas this Friday 4 October.

The intimate event was attended by the film’s stars Sebastian Stan and Adam Pearson, and director and executive producer Aaron Schimberg, who introduced the film onstage together. Guests included the cast and creators of the BBC’s We Might Regret This Kyla Harris, Lee Getty and Elena Saurel, as well as presenter and baker Briony May Williams and BAFTA nominated writer director Ella Glendining.

Croydon-born Adam Pearson addressed the London audience: “this one means a lot […] it’s difficult for films like this to get made and it’s so important that they do”.

Sebastian Stan said “we made this movie for people like you, audiences like you who love movies”.

“A DIFFERENT MAN” follows aspiring actor Edward who undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare, as he loses out on the role he was born to play and becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.

‘A Different Man’ is in UK cinemas from October 4th.
