With such a wide range of mobility vehicles and adaptations available, finding the right mobility solution can often feel quite daunting.

It is really important you select a reliable and reputable company to work with.

Sirus Automotive is a vehicle conversion and adaptation company based in the West Midlands that specialise in converted vehicles and adaptations for disabled drivers and wheelchair passengers who want to travel up front, next to the driver.

Commercial Manager, Lenna Freeman, said: “This year we celebrate our 15th anniversary. During that time we have helped over 15,000 people with their mobility needs through our vehicle adaptations, drive from wheelchair and passenger upfront solutions. My team of mobility specialists provide our customers with help and advice on conversion options, adaptations, funding and insurance.

We also provide no obligation, no pressure home demonstrations where we assess each individual’s needs so we can provide bespoke solutions. We are really proud of our team and the knowledge and experience we have within the business.”

Customer service

Sirus pride themselves on their service, going that ‘extra mile’ for thei customers. Their service includes vehicle collection and delivery and fittings for your wheelchair in the vehicle. They also have a team of mobile engineers on the road should you ever require assistance. Lenna continues, “Customer service is and always has been, the most important factor to us. It’s hugely rewarding that our customers want to return to us time and time again”.

Compact, fuel efficient and lower Co2 emissions

Sirus vehicle conversions are based on compact vehicles, so they are fuel efficient, lower in Co2 emissions and also easier to park than most large WAV’s.

Their conversions are designed to give optimum interior space.

The Sirus VW Caddy (for drivers and upfront passengers) can carry up to five people and the Sirus Ford (combined driver/upfront passenger conversion) has two rear seats as well as spacious boot space for equipment.

When choosing your next vehicle, consider the following:

  • How many seats do you need for additional passengers?
  • What size vehicle are you comfortable driving/parking?
  • What equipment do you need to transport?
  • Where will you park, and will the vehicle fit in your garage or on your driveway?
  • What is most important to you, i.e. fuel economy, low Co2 emissions?
  • Does the vehicle have a lowered floor so you have good visibility out of the windscreen?

All new Sirus vehicles are available on the Motability Scheme and they can also offer finance through Evolution Finance.
