STEPS Rehabilitation, a Sheffield-based company has won “Rehabilitation Provider of the Year” at the prestigious Personal Injury Awards 2018. This is the first national award that the company has won since opening in May 2017 and recognises the positive impact that their work is having on those who have sustained serious injuries.

STEPS has a unique environment that enables people to access a wide range of therapies and medical specialists all under one roof to deliver intensive and ongoing rehabilitation for people recovering from brain injury and complex trauma injuries, enabling them to reach their full potential and to rebuild their lives.

In a short space of time STEPS is having a positive impact across the legal sector, forging strong working relationships with several of the UK’s leading law injury firms who are representing seriously injured clients throughout the UK. Many of those law firms are based in Yorkshire and include: Stewarts; Irwin Mitchell; Switalskis and Ramsdens. STEPS has had to demonstrate considerable expertise, exceptional client care and innovation to win the trust and confidence of some of the best injury lawyers in the UK.

Speaking of their success at the awards ceremony, Managing Director, Jules Leahy said, “We are honoured to be recognised by such a prestigious panel of legal industry judges. STEPS embrace the philosophy of teamwork and recognise the considerable benefits it has to clients and their families.

This approach extends to collaborating with the lawyers representing our clients, as well as the insurers working to settle these serious and high-value personal injury claims. We are proud to have created a rehabilitation facility that inspires and motivates clients to meet their full potential following life-changing injuries.”
