The fully electric E-TREK is compact but capable. It might be the ideal mobility vehicle for disabled people with sufficient core strength and balance to ride it, since it’s pavement and road legal – but has a definite wild side that can be released off-road, over the toughest terrain, backed up with plenty of power and torque from a DC 60V 1,000W brushless motor (equivalent power 2,100W).
The E-TREK has a narrow turning circle of 5.4m, as well as a low seating position making it easy to mount and dismount – including for people who transfer from wheelchairs.
Control
A speed restrictor helps make the scooter manageable and allows the rider to control the top speeds to suit the environment, and of course, it’s complete with front and rear indicators, headlights, hazard lights and chunky tubeless tyres.
The speed restriction switch also makes it compliant with class 3 mobility vehicle requirements for use on pavements (4mph) or road use (8mph) and with a maximum speed of 25mph. No driving licence is necessary to use the E-TREK as a mobility vehicle, though riders must follow the Highway Code and register the vehicle (free) with the DVLA.
Suitable for riders 16 years plus and available in black or red.
