The All Terrain Add-On attaches to manual wheelchairs to lift the front castors off the ground, providing more capability over more challenging terrain such as high kerbs, grass or poor road surfaces.

The wheel will fit securely onto almost all fi xed wheelchair footrests, if they are no higher than 4.5 inches from the ground. Once attached the wheelchair becomes an easily manoeuvrable three-wheeler, although a mechanism will keep the wheelchair in a straight direction until gentle pressure from the user is applied for steering purposes.
