Yvonne Arnaud Theatre is delighted to announce that their full theatre renovation is now complete. The transformation has completely refreshed this much-loved venue and made it more welcoming and accessible than ever before. The building now features a brand-new lift that provides access to all levels, a beautifully redesigned café space, the River Room for creative learning and fully refurbished bars. This major project reflects their commitment to ensuring the theatre remains a vibrant cultural hub for the next fifty years, offering comfort, creativity and inclusion for everyone who walks through their doors.
An Accessible Theatre Experience for Everyone

In the Main Auditorium there is space for two wheelchair users, and a wheelchair can be borrowed if required. In the Mill Studio there is step-free access and space for up to eight wheelchair users. There are two disabled parking spaces immediately outside the main entrance, and customers with access needs are welcome to be dropped off at the doors. The Main House is equipped with a Sennheiser infra-red sound enhancement system, and headsets are available from the Box Office for use with aural or post-aural aids. Assistance dogs are welcome, they ask that customers inform customer services when booking if they plan to bring one.
