The Big Event, Exeter is returning to Westpoint later this month, and for the first time, the motoring show is now across two days on, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 June 2024.

As the automotive industry shifts towards a greener future and manufacturers produce more electric vehicles, this year’s event has a new focus on electric motoring. To equip visitors with as much electric vehicle (EV) knowledge as possible, the event will feature a dedicated EV Information Hub, where Scheme experts will answer customer questions, demonstrate EV charging options for at home and the go and discuss the benefits of switching to an EV.

There will also be a large range of vehicles and products on display over the weekend, including EVs, petrol and diesel cars, wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs), adaptations, scooters and powered wheelchairs.

Visitors can also book a test drive on the day and there will be an indoor scooter test drive area for customers to try out different products in a safe space.

The event is free to attend, and visitors don’t need to pre-book a place, simply turn up on the day. There will be plenty of free accessible parking – and free refreshments on offer.

For those unable to make The Big Event, Exeter, there are two other events in the programme. The Big Event, Harrogate, takes place on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 August and The Big Event, Edinburgh, takes place on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 September.
