With flexibility at the heart of every holiday, your stay can be whatever you want it to be.

The only hotel in Jersey designed specifically for people with disabilities has just reopened after a £3.8 million refurbishment. Located in the Island’s beautiful north-west, the hotel overlooks Jersey National Park with its stunning views and protected wildlife.

Over the past two years, Maison des Landes has undergone extensive remodeling and now combines the relaxing atmosphere of a modern hotel with the very latest facilities for people with disabilities, their families and carers. Guests are able to relax in the hydrotherapy pool, enjoy the tranquil grounds and take in the beautiful views. The hotel has 23 specially equipped rooms, a 48-seater restaurant, a licensed bar and a beautiful lounge and orangery.

Tailored experience
Each of our 23 bedrooms is different, which means that the team can select the accommodation that will best suit your needs. Whether that’s inter-connecting rooms or specific facilities, we’re able to tailor your experience so that you can relax without worry. Our 15 fully accessible ground floor bedrooms all have wheel in wetrooms and are fitted with ceiling hoists. Premium rooms have easily accessible private patios and continued tracking from the beds to the en-suite wetrooms.

Flexibility
The hotel puts flexibility at the heart of every stay. Guests can choose to join an organised tour, or explore the Island on their own, make new friends in the bar, or just relax in quiet solitude. And then there are flexible mealtimes and delicious menu choices to indulge in. At Maison des Landes your stay can be whatever you want it to be.

Local attractions
If you’re keen to see what Jersey has to offer the summer visitor, accessibility to local tourist attractions has never been better. From boat trips and specially designed beach wheelchairs, to historical sites and museums, the island is well equipped to offer people with disabilities a wonderful holiday. With visitor sites like Jersey Zoo, The Maritime Museum and Jersey War Tunnels, and events like The Battle of Flowers, Picnic in the Park and The French Festival, visitors are spoilt for choice. Maison des Landes has a full programme of activities, tours and regular hotel entertainment, so you can do as much or as little as you please.

Jersey is renowned for its good food, and Maison des Landes is no exception. Start the day with continental or cooked breakfast, enjoy freshly prepared light lunches, or even a cream tea while enjoying the view. In the evening our chef serves a delicious meal, with a choice of dishes in each course. We also have a fully licensed bar for those who enjoy socialising.

The hotel’s friendly and empathetic team are on hand to assist you and ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and memorable stay. And because we’re aware that carers need care too, we offer respite holidays for a few days or longer at any time of year. For a relaxing break, there’s no better place in Jersey for disabled people, their carers and those seeking respite.
