The Mazda CX-30 is a stylish, award-winning SUV offering an equally refined driving experience. Part of this is down to Mazda’s innovative G-Vectoring Control (GVC), an innovative technology designed to improve vehicle performance in different driving conditions by optimising handling and stability.
There are seven CX-30 models on the Motability Scheme, from the Prime-Line, Centre Line, Homura and Exclusive-Line trims, among them versions with automatic and manual transmission.
Plenty of the features on the Mazda CX-30 will appeal to disabled drivers, not least standard items such as coming home lights that are a real help on the short journey from car to front door, or the reversing camera and rear parking sensors that enable people with impaired movement to manoeuvre their vehicle safely and smoothly into spaces, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold and auto-disengage functions that is less strenuous to use than a traditional handbrake. The Centre-Line trim upgrades to front and rear parking sensors, while a power liftgate is available on the Homura trim.
While the instrument panel is hosted on a 7” TFT colour driver display, Mazda Connect infotainment including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (and navigation with seven years’ free European updates) runs through a 10.25” display and includes DAB radio with six speakers, integrated Bluetooth and Amazon Alexa in-car voice assistant.
Mazda connected services, including car finder, run through the MyMazda app, while the multimedia commander brings together the infotainment screen with steering wheel buttons controlling media and cruise control/speed limiter functions.

The Homura trim offers DAB radio with eight speakers (as does Centre-Line) and Qi wireless charging, while the Exclusive-Line trim upgrades further to a 12-speaker Bose surround-sound system, with Bose CenterPoint, BassMatch and AudioPilot.
The standard manually adjustable seats are heated from the Centre-Line trim and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and smart keyless entry are also included. Even so, the Prime-Line trim retains a leather-wrapped gear shift and steering wheel with telescopic and tilt adjustment.
Other convenience features include start/stop button, hill launch assist, Mazda radar cruise control and a head-up display with traffic sign recognition. The Centre-Line trim adds dual zone air-conditioning with rear air vents as well as a Drive Selection Switch (on automatic models).
Among a long list of safety features that span the whole model range, are ABS, driver and front passenger airbags, as well as proactive systems including: blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, driver attention alert, dynamic stability control, advanced e-call with GPS, emergency stop signalling system, intelligent speed assist, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, front smart brake support and traction control.
Cargo volume is up to 430 litres with five seats in place, though the rear seats fold down in 60:40 configuration giving a total cargo volume of up to 1,406 litres.
