The Disability Journalism Forum (DJF) is hosting its second event at the BBC’s London Broadcasting House on Wednesday 20th September, 2023 – and we would love for you to tune in virtually.
The DJF is a conference which aims to improve representation of disabled staff in newsrooms across the UK, highlighting the impact of disabled journalists within the media industry.
The 2023 DJF runs from 11am – 4.30pm with the following topics up for discussion:

12.30 Panel 2: Disability in the headlines
14.15 Interactive workshops: In this session there will be one virtual workshop for managers to meet disability experts and consultants to look at every aspect of recruiting and retaining disabled staff, exploring what support is out there. At the same time there will be a separate workshop for aspiring journalists with tips on how to land your first job.
