The Big Event programme is returning for 2024, with a new focus on electric motoring. This year, visitors can look forward to the biggest ever programme of accessible motoring events, as for the first time, all events will run over two days, giving visitors more opportunity to experience what the Scheme has to offer.

The programme kicks off with our flagship show, The Big Event, Birmingham, which returns to the NEC on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May. There will be over 150 vehicles to explore, all of which are available on the Motability Scheme, including an increased range of EVs and the UK’s biggest display of wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs).

Visitors can also look forward to having their questions answered by Scheme experts and the return of the EV Info Hub, where they can speak with our innovation team, see live demos and get advice on charging an EV at home or on the go. The Big Event, Birmingham, will also include speaker sessions from celebrity guests, Scheme customers and automotive experts, that will be streamed live across the two days.
