Motability Scheme Live, formerly known as The Big Event and One Big Day, offers visitors a unique chance to explore the latest vehicles, talk to specialists and find out everything they need to know about the Motability Scheme. Motability Scheme Live, Birmingham at the NEC, on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May, is the Scheme’s flagship event. There’s a lot to see and do, and it’s free to attend.
Take a test drive to help you find your next vehicle
Visitors can see the largest collection of cars, wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs), scooters, powered wheelchairs and adaptations under one roof Visitors can also test drive a variety of standard and adapted cars, including electric vehicles (EVs). Plus, they can try a range of scooter products on an indoor track. Test drives are bookable on the day.*

See engaging speaker sessions and live car reviews on the big screen
There’ll be a cinema-style speaker session area, where visitors can enjoy inspiring and informative, pre-recorded speaker sessions throughout the day. Some sessions will explain how the Motability Scheme works, while others will provide useful tips on cars, wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs), powered wheelchairs, scooters, and adaptations. And for something extra special, there’ll be live car reviews recorded in real time at the event and streamed straight into the speaker session area.
It’s an inclusive and accessible event where everyone’s welcome
Inclusivity and accessibility are at the heart of Motability Scheme Live. Facilities include a quiet room, ear defenders (please ask for these at reception), pre-bookable British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters (email: events@mo.co.uk), accessible toilets, and a high dependency unit (HDU). Assistance dogs are welcome, and free accessible parking is available at the venue. Motability Scheme Live, Harrogate will be at The Great Yorkshire Events Centre, on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 August. And there will be a much-anticipated return to Ireland’s north, with Motability Scheme Live, Northern Ireland being held at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September.
