Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set roughly 2,400 years ago in ancient Greece. It’s a hugely enjoyable open world adventure where players are challenged to work their way through tasks, discovering treasure, fighting off armies and assassins along the way. All this while progressing, up-skilling and improving by unlocking its many different features.

The diverse aspects of the game means hours of engaging gameplay for those who are new to role-playing games or for experienced players alike.

One of the huge positives about the game is that you’re not tied to any timeline or route enabling players to tackle the challenges and missions in their preferred order, as they further explore the huge game map of Greece and the surrounding islands.

With no lives to be lost or time to be expired, you are able to enjoy this game at your own pace, a true benefit for novice gamers. It’s a sword and sandal epic!

Regular readers of Able Magazine will remember that we set a competition to win an Xbox and an adaptive controller kit in our Nov/Dec 2018 edition.

The prize was won by Louise from Huddersfield, who told us that: “I can’t believe I have won this amazing prize! My brother and I were always playing against each other on Bomb Jack years ago on the ZX Spectrum. I’d
always beat him.

He’d always tell me he’d beaten my score on my return from school but he hadn’t!”

Louise will enjoy a console and adaptive controller kit including foot pedal, switches, joystick and three game cards.
