The UK’s largest all-inclusive mass participation fun run will take place in Scotland for the first time on 2 September 2018 as Glasgow’s George Square plays host to a mini family festival of active lifestyle activities.
Parallel will welcome thousands of people of all ages and abilities to take part in a series of fun runs from 5km to 100m, including the ever popular Super Sensory 1km course. The award-winning event places disability inclusion at the heart of the experience, operating with the spirit of ‘Start Together, Finish Whenever’. The event, now in its third year, underlines Glasgow’s status as a city of sport and inclusion; following on from the legacy of Commonwealth Games 2014 and the forthcoming Glasgow 2018 European Championships.

A celebration of diversity and inclusion, Parallel Glasgow enables people of all ages and abilities to challenge themselves and get active. The Glasgow city centre course will also play host to additional activities; including sport, games, play and wellbeing.
