This June, the UK’s leading exhibition dedicated to Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles returns to the astounding Haynes International Motor Museum.
Now in it’s 5th year, the 2019 WAV Weekend is hosted by Special Purpose Vehicle convertors Brotherwood, who will be showcasing their market-leading range of wheelchair passenger cars. Visitors will also be the first to see a pair of brand new WAV conversions which will be unveiled for the first time at the exclusive event; the first a breathtakingly luxurious adaptation of the Brotherwood ‘Klastar’ Mercedes-Benz V-Class, developed in partnership with Mercedes-approved bespoke coachbuilder Senzati; the second a preview of an all-new Concept vehicle which promises to answer the demands of many clients who demand a vehicle which delivers optimal comfort, space and visibility for the wheelchair user. Guests will be able to provide their feedback as the concept vehicle enters its’ final stages of development, shaping the vehicle to perfectly suit the needs of today’s WAV users.
Taking place at the stunning Haynes International Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset – just off the A303 and 30 minutes from junction 25 of the M5, from Thursday 6th, until Saturday 8th June, visitors will be able to explore over 25 quality wheelchair accessible vehicles, discuss their needs with Brotherwood’s expert mobility advisors, and test drive the vehicles of their choice – all whilst enjoying hospitality courtesy of one of Europe’s largest motor museums.
Visitors can make the day complete with a tour of the Haynes collection of over 400 unique and historical motor cars and cycles – museum entry is included to all visitors who RSVP. Refreshments will be available via the Haynes Café 750 which enjoys panoramic views across to Somerset’s Camelot Hill, while petrol-heads can also browse the extensive museum shop with its leading range of souvenirs, models, DVD’s, books, official Formula 1 team clothing and manufacturers merchandise from Ferrari to MG.
