At Crispin Orthotics, we have an experienced technical team who can manufacture a complete range of made to measure orthotic products within our workshop. From our experience in providing Orthotic service for a comprehensive client base, our workshop is organised to support prescriptions requiring expertise in areas including plastic manufacture (Ankle Foot Orthoses, Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses, knee braces, spinal supports, protective helmets, protective face masks and rigid insoles) metalwork, carbon fibre, 3D modelling, silicone manufacture, fabric manufacture, 3D printing, leatherwork, through to those areas regarded as more traditional, such as made to measure footwear manufacture and footwear repairs and adaptations.
Our orthotists have a BSc (Hons) Prosthetics and Orthotics dual qualification. They are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are members of the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO). As clinicians, all our Orthotists have developed an extensive knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics and the principles of Orthotic design which, when linked to their excellent communication skills and the ability to apply their comprehensive theoretical knowledge in a truly practically appropriate manner, ensures prescriptions that are best placed to meet patient expectations and provide them with the most beneficial products to achieve and maintain functional goals.
