The Mazda CX-60 SUV is available on the Motability Scheme in two trims, Exclusive-Line and Homura, with each also available with additional packs that include further features.

Premium features and luxurious layout mark the CX-60 as focused on delivering an outstanding driving experience, starting with the Mi-Drive mode selection that offers five different options to provide control and comfort, while taking you from 0-62mph in just 5.8 seconds.

There are plenty of standard features that disabled drivers and passengers will appreciate, including electrically adjustable, auto power-folding door mirrors and handsfree power liftgate and coming home/leaving home lights that will undoubtedly save unnecessary faff, as well as front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera that will aid people with impaired trunk mobility. Along similar lines, the convenience and driver assist pack includes a 360º view monitor that helps drivers to check the immediate area around the vehicle while driving forward, stopping or parking.

The Mazda Connect multimedia system, including integrated Bluetooth, Mazda navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, runs through a 12.3” colour display unit, that also hosts DAB radio with eight speakers and USB-C inputs.
Every effort has been made to optimise every feature, from the heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, driver seat with manual tilt, slide, recline and height adjustment, smart keyless entry, cruise control with adjustable speed limiter, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning with rear air-vents, 12.3” digital instrument cluster and windscreen projected colour active ‘head-up’ display. It’s difficult to see obvious areas for improved comfort and convenience. Even so, the comfort pack includes several additional features to the Exclusive-Line trim such as driver door mirror memory and lumbar adjustment.

Additionally, the comfort pack also introduces electric power driver and passenger seats and which features the Mazda Driver Personalisation System, using facial recognition technology to automatically restore the driver’s saved seat memory position.

The Homura trim also includes the personalisation system as standard, as well as electric steering wheel adjustment and 12 Bose speaker surround-sound system that uses Bose Audio Pilot software to counteract background noise, plus there’s also an option to add a handsome panoramic roof.

As standard, the interior is kitted out in cool black leather seat trim, with the Homura trim upgrading to soft nappa leather.
A raft of safety kit is included on both trims, including blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, e-call with GPS, and both emergency lane-keeping with additional road keep assist, and lane-keep assist system with lane departure warning system. Traffic sign recognition as well as front smart brake support with turn across traffic are all present and, with all trim levels being AWD, also feature hill descent control.

The convenience and driver assist pack on the Homura trim extends the safety kit list to include cruising and traffic support, intelligent speed assistance, front cross traffic alert and rear smart brake support with rear crossing.

Driver monitoring is included in the optional comfort pack on Exclusive-Line models, and is standard on Homura models, to detect drowsiness or inattention, before sounding an alert and preparing to engage automatic braking to help mitigate a potential accident.

Practical 40:20:40 split folding rear seats provide handy storage for larger items with convenient levers located in the boot to lower them from the rear of the vehicle.
