1,700 athletes with intellectual disabilities from England, Scotland and Wales competed in 12 sports at the 9th Special Olympics GB National Summer Games.
Nine sports took place at the University of Bath, the golfers competed at Bath Golf Club, while Aquatics and Ten-Pin Bowling were based in Bristol.
The Games have been judged a resounding success by the athletes, coaches, families and the 17 Delegations. We are grateful for the support of the 500 Games Volunteers who made this the “smiliest Games ever”.
