The official anthem for Special Olympics 2013 National Games will be launched in Bath on Thursday 1st August at 1pm.
The song ‘Living Our Dream’ has been written by Clyve, a Soul/ R & B recording artist who originates from Bath. The song has been co-written by Jon Birch.
Clyve will be performing the song live on Thursday at the Southgate Centre in Bath where Special Olympics GB has been promoting the Games each week.
“We invite anyone in the area on Thursday to come and join us at 1pm for the very first live performance of our 2013 Bath Games anthem,” says Karen Wallin, Chief Executive Special Olympics GB.
“It is a great song which really captures the determination and courage of all our athletes and I’m sure it will be a highlight of the night for everyone attending the spectacular Opening Ceremony at the Royal Crescent, Bath on 28 August when Clyve will be performing the song again.”
Special Olympics GB’s National Summer Games 2013 – held once every four years – takes place in the World Heritage City of Bath from Wed 28 Aug – Sun 1 Sept 2013.
1,700 athletes with intellectual disabilities from England, Scotland & Wales will take part in 12 sports.
