Team Invacare will again participate in this year’s Back Up Trust challenge to climb Snowdon pushing local hero Josh Davies from Swansea in a custom all terrain wheelchair to the summit. Invacare successfully completed the challenge last year and are hoping to beat their time of 4 hours and 54 minutes and raise funds for the valuable work of the Back Up Trust charity.

The event takes place on 11 July 2015 and involves a team of 15 Invacare personnel pulling and pushing Josh to the top of Mount Snowdon and back down again over 8.5 miles of rough mixed terrain.

Last year and the team raised nearly £5k and are keen to beat that target this year. To support the fundraising, Invacare personnel will be doing additional activities such as a Six Nations raffle and a cake bake sale.
