This June Care Roadshows will be returning to the fantastic Aintree Racecourse on Tuesday the 9th with the chance for the care sector to come together again for a day of discovering new resources and the latest sector updates.
With around 30 stands full of the hottest innovations specifically for the care industry; care home owners, managers and care professionals will have the opportunity to test resources for themselves and find out directly from suppliers how their products and services can help enhance their individual setting.
Alongside the exhibition, attendees are also invited to take part in hands-on workshops and hear from sector leaders taking part in the educational seminar programme which runs throughout the day. The workshops will be presented by TV Chef and TSYMCO Managing Director, Mark Earnden. Mark will be delivering three fresh, lively food demonstrations during the event which will highlight simple methods, flavours and concepts which can be adapted to provide a revolutionary dining experience for residents.
CQC inspection manager Julie Hughes will be heading up the seminar sessions as she looks at the CQC’s new inspection ratings of Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement and Inadequate and discusses how to prepare for your own inspection.
Employment Law specialist Tracy Winter from Citation will be providing attendees with information to help them stay compliant and will look at areas such as overtime and holiday pay, shared parental leave and sleep ins and travel time.
Natalie Yates-Bolton from Salford Institute for Dementia will be addressing how care providers can make a difference to the quality of life for those with dementia; Natalie will particularly look at developing staff awareness, a life engagement approach and looking at dementia friendly environments.
