The iEAT is a compact feeding device especially developed for people with minimal muscle function or limited hand coordination. Essentially, the arm works by nullifying uncontrolled movements using a damping mechanism, offering low resistance which makes it possible for the user to perform controlled eating movements. There are various integral settings which also make it impossible for the iEAT to flip over the plate or poke the user in the face for example.
