The chunky cork and rubber handle is incredibly comfortable to use and somehow, quite reassuring to lean on – especially with the Flexyfoot ferule providing excellent stability and grip on the ground. The handle has been designed to ‘breathe’ and as such hands do not become sweaty and sore whilst using it. (The stick folds into three portions linked by an elasticated cable and stowed in a drawstring bag to stop it spreading itself out and making a mess.) It is also height adjustable.
The Flexyfoot ferule whilst providing great grip supplies just enough flex to cut down on jarring impact felt through the wrist and to make for a smoother, fuller contact since more of the ferule sits on the ground – whereas with traditional stiff ferules one edge tends to become worn out through contact.
