This is a new type of four-wheeled walker. Users sometimes find that while swivel wheels are handy for tight manoeuvring, they can occasionally skid or shimmy, so the new (patent pending) synchronised steering feature can only be warmly received – since it takes away the need to watch the wheels, when you might otherwise be enjoying your surroundings – safely and confidently.
The two swivel wheels are connected through a pulley belt arrangement so that they steer in unison, similar to a car’s steering system.
Additionally, its 12” wheels are larger than other conventional rollators and fitted with ‘supersoft’ pneumatic tyres, for a smooth ride, while the compact foldable, aluminium frame is lightweight and user-friendly.
