As a gadget designed to increase support for the wearer when they are away from home, the Vega GPS is perfectly suited for people with chronic health issues or learning difficulties.

The main aspects  of the watch include a connection through the two way speaker phone to the company’s UK-based call centre, who will then determine and dispatch what help is needed.  It is also waterproof, and has a long battery life and can be charged while in use if needed.

GPS technology is a unique feature in the watch and provides peace of mind for families and friends of users while maintaining independence for the user. An automatic alert is sent when the user leaves a predetermined “safety zone” ensuring no one gets lost or strays too far from home. With a one press button, the watch is easy to use and GPS technology makes it ideal for those with dementia or other memory affected disorders
The watch is available to buy or lease on a monthly basis, depending on requirements of each user.
